About the RoleAs a Disability Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to participants, assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care, and community engagement. You will work within a supportive team, following individualized care plans to enhance the well-being and quality of life of those in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care including showering, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
* Support community participation, including social outings and recreational activities.
* Provide transportation assistance, including driving participants to medical appointments, school, and shopping.
* Work flexible shifts across weekdays, weekends, and evenings as part of a rotating roster.

* Minimum 1 year experience in the disability, aged care, or community health sector (essential).
* Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Disability, Aged Care, or a related field.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Current National Police Clearance (no older than 12 months).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (if applicable).
* Current Full Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
* COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (as per government requirements).
Work Schedule: Flexible shifts, including:
* Morning Shift
* Afternoon shifts
* Day shifts
* Evening shifts
* Weekend availability
