Your New Role

The Administration Assistant – Reception and Student Reception roles require a person who can communicate effectively with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders, staff and students. They are the first point of contact for community members seeking assistance. The Reception and Student Reception position has a key role in triaging students, parents and staff with their needs. This position needs to be adaptable and able to cope with change and unexpected events.

* 30.4 hours per fortnight. Thursdays and Fridays | 8.30am – 4.30pm

* Salary: Level 4: $37.21 per hour – Averaged (doesn't work in school breaks)
Essential Requirements
* Have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to work in a friendly and cooperative manner with students and colleagues.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to plan effectively and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated experience in a variety of IT systems and software in order to be able to provide administrative support to a variety of areas of the school.
* Proven experience in managing difficult situations in a customer service role.
* Experience in providing administrative support to supervisors.
* Certificate III in Business Administration or at least 3 years experience in working in a reception or administration role.
* A current Working With Children Check is required as a pre‐condition of employment.
* Current First Aid.
* Drivers Licence.
* Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
* Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
