Purpose of Role: We have 2 vacancies for Regional TSS Engineers. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide technical guidance and take responsibility for the HPGR and Comminution installed base across the APAC region.
TSS is customer-focused and supports the aftermarket business with projects such as upgrades, modifications, and field trials to enhance customer uptime and win back spare parts. The TSS department acts as the 'technical bridge' between customers and Weir Minerals' internal teams, working closely with Engineering, Spare Parts, Sales, and the Venlo Technology Group (VTG).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to customers/regions worldwide to resolve complaints and improve satisfaction.
2. Troubleshoot issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), coordinate field testing, and propose technical solutions.
3. Analyze production processes and monitor field data to identify wear and suggest improvements.
4. Handle Customer Non-Conformities (NCs) from machine handover to resolution.
5. Coordinate and analyze technical customer queries to provide solutions.
6. Build relationships with key and potential customers to meet their expectations.
7. Support sales teams early in new business opportunities.
8. Monitor equipment performance through site visits and end-user engagement.
9. Take pre-emptive and remedial actions when issues arise.
10. Monitor competitor activities and participate in industry events and working groups.
11. Collaborate with sales, aftermarket, engineering, and technology teams to develop strategies for business growth and product improvement.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree – mechanical or electrical.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience with minerals processing equipment or equivalent.
* Ability to interpret scientific journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
* Proficiency in responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or the business community.
* Ability to work in an office environment with regular site travel.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
