About the role
Wrights the Butchers is seeking a full-time Driver & Labourer with an LR (Light Rigid) licence to join our team in Alexandria, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operating a light rigid delivery vehicle to transport and deliver meat and other goods to customer locations
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries, ensuring all shipments are secure and undamaged
* Maintaining accurate delivery records and providing excellent customer service
* Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety procedures, HACCP standards and company policies
* Supporting the broader operations team as needed with general labour duties
What we're looking for
* A current LR (Light Rigid) driver's licence and a clean driving record
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar delivery or driver role
* Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous manner
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy goods
* A commitment to safety and delivering high-quality service
