About the role

This is an opportunity to step into a senior Manager, Operations Performance role and lead the delivery of operational excellence across dnata Catering’s units. Based in Sydney, you will work closely with the GM, Operations Performance, and partner with unit leaders to drive performance management, implement improvement initiatives, and ensure high-quality service delivery that meets national standards and airline expectations.

Your impact
* Set direction and lead the delivery of operational performance initiatives across all units.

* Build capability within teams to deliver measurable improvements in service quality and compliance.

* Partner with unit leaders to drive performance, reduce KPI penalties, and enhance customer satisfaction.

* Develop and implement business improvement frameworks and best-practice operational procedures.

* Monitor and analyse performance data to inform action plans and remedial strategies.

* Lead projects and initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance with operational standards.

* Apply insights from reporting and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

* Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across all operations.

What you need to be successful in securing this role
* Experience leading operational performance or business improvement initiatives in a complex organisation.

* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders to achieve results.

* Strong commercial and analytical mindset with a practical, solution-focused approach.

* Proven experience in project management, process improvement, and operational change programs.

* Sound understanding of compliance, service standards, and performance measurement tools.

* Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and motivate teams.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting systems to drive data-informed performance decisions.
