Loan Set Technician – Brisbane

This role will perform administrative functions on behalf of the Company and represent the Company in compliance with the Code of Conduct and Business Principles and the employment agreement. The role operates within the region Operations Team Charter, building a culture of accountability and team building to provide unified outstanding customer service.
What will you be doing?
* Pick, pack, check and receive all stock, including loan sets.
* Receive, process and dispatch loan set/kit returns, ensuring they are intact and ready for re‐issue timely.
* Quality inspection of returned material/equipment, identify and confirm status in SAP/My Mediset to ensure accurate ownership transactions.
* Assist with stock rotation and remove expired items where vital.
* Supervise all products by batch/lot number and serial number; all products must be individually tagged.
* Identify discrepancies in bookings, ensuring CAPA takes place on all occasions to minimise company risk.
* Perform domestic & international shipping duties and ensure delivery information is communicated to relevant departments.
* Track loan sets at all times, both dispatch and return, to facilitate quick turnaround of loan kits and make stock available for the VIC Operations team.
* Assist the customer service team with enquiries to ensure bookings are processed accurately, with all stock being transacted via the tunnel to control movements and aid accurate billing of non‐returned stock.
* In conjunction with other team members handle the daily running of the warehouse to complete bookings timely to meet branch surgery dates and internal key metrics.
* General warehouse and related duties as advised by the Regional Operations Manager, forming a close working relationship with sales staff to ensure patient outcomes.
* Maintain ISO 9001:2015 / ISO13485 environment, following quality responsibilities and strict health and safety guidelines and housekeeping.
What will you need to be successful?
* Certificate in warehousing and distribution.
* Proven experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
* Experience in loan set operations.
* Experience working with contaminated materials.
* Exposure to the medical device industry.
* Understanding of Hospital CSSD process.
* Knowledge in SAP/Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) processes.
