Job Title: Senior Financial Advisor
A key member of our Consulting Team, delivering high-quality advice and tailored solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with regulatory bodies regarding tax debts, audits, registrations, etc.
* Support clients to meet GST, PAYG, STP, Payroll Tax, and Super Guarantee obligations.
* Prepare business valuations, bank covenants, R&D applications, and financial analysis reports.
* Assist with consulting projects: retirement advice, tax planning, aged care advice, and more.
* Use platforms like Xero, MYOB, BGL, QuickBooks, and DEXT to support client reporting.
* Support financial decision-making through forecasting and cashflow analysis.
* Maintain corporate structures, draft loan agreements, and prepare various reports.
* Collaborate with internal teams, schedule Director meetings, and update Xero Practice Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Commerce/Accounting degree (essential)
* 2–3 years' experience in consulting or accounting
* Sound knowledge of Australian financial and tax regulations
* Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, etc.)
