Indigenous Trainee Development Program

The Australian National Botanic Gardens is launching a unique career opportunity for individuals to contribute to the conservation of Australia's plant species.

This role involves assisting in the horticultural management of the gardens, including weeding, plant propagation and general horticultural management in outdoor and controlled environments. This will involve regular and routine maintenance tasks as well as providing information to visitors about the gardens.


About this Role

* You will be working within a team to assist in the daily operations of the gardens
* You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service when interacting with visitors to the gardens


Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the horticultural management of the Australian National Botanic Gardens
2. Perform regular and routine horticultural maintenance tasks
3. Provide information relating to the Australian National Botanic Gardens
