Job Title: Financial Operations Leader

Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, GL, cash flow, BAS/GST, FBT, and statutory lodgements
* Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with variance and trend analysis
* Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and rolling reforecasts in collaboration with project teams
* Monitor WIP, job costing, and project profitability across commercial and multi-residential projects
* Ensure compliance with AASB, tax law, payroll, and super obligations
* Manage external audits and maintain a strong internal control environment
* Drive process improvement using Xero, SimPro, and automation tools
Requirements:
* CPA or CA qualification (essential)
* 3-5 years' experience in a finance role, preferably in construction, civil, plumbing, or project-based industries
* Strong working knowledge of modern ERP platforms and advanced Excel skills (Xero and SimPro experience a plus)
* A passion for systems improvement and process design
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
