Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Commodity Risk Management (CRM) team and make this newly created position yours.
Whilst based in Adelaide you will be part of a truly global team, the CRM team have hubs in US, Brazil, Germany, and Singapore. The CRM team provide daily market risk positions and risk analytics for ADM's various business units and senior management across a range of agricultural commodities. The position will be focused on supporting the AG Services / Global Trade business in both Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and driven. You will be required to work across different departments, including commercial teams, logistics, finance and IT. Further to this but not limited to:
Producing, validating and reconciling the market and operational risk reports aligning closely with commercialProviding regular and ad hoc analysis on margin / P&L effects within the Australian and New Zealand businessesActing as a business partner to provide and analyze the risk position data to support commercial decision makingPartnering with the commercial team to define/adjust risk position limits, actively monitoring adherence, and promptly escalating any issuesProviding support for the implementation and utilization of key global CRM initiativesAssisting with data driven projects to enhance risk performance, accuracy and insights
About You
You will have a bachelor's degree in agriculture, Finance, Risk management, Economics or another relevant fieldExceptional analytical skillsDemonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage cross departmental prioritiesExperience in Commodity Trading, both physical and derivative trades (preference Agricultural Market)Experience in Foreign exchange exposure and managing foreign exchange riskExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamAdvanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in Power BI (including DAX), Power Automate, Python and/or SQL/data base concepts
