Key Commercial Account Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to manage our growing portfolio of regional clients.
This is a 360-degree position where you will handle existing commercial insurance clients and new business enquiries. You will be the primary point of contact for local businesses, supporting them throughout their entire insurance lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own portfolio of local business customers.
* Negotiate renewals with insurers.
* Handle mid-term adjustments and changes in risk.
* Notify and liaise with clients regarding claims (supported by a dedicated claims team).
* Maintain regular client contact and build relationships.
* Visit clients across the local area on occasion.
Commercial Classes Handled:
* Small to medium combined risks.
* Local shops, offices, and property owners.
* Tradesman's liability for regional contractors.
* Small fleet and goods vehicles.
* Business risks across Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex.
Requirements:
* Commercial insurance experience.
* Excellent customer service skills and local market understanding.
* A strong work ethic and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Relationship-building skills for face-to-face client interaction.
Working Arrangements:
* Hybrid working available (office and home-based).
* Ocassional visits to clients across the local area.
* Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
