Provide advice and support to the Facility Services section with a specific focus on mandated operational building compliance requirements to support the achievement of Section objectives. Assist with and support the delivery of a client focused service to the facilities management team across a range of centrally administered contracts and the provision of an advisory service to site managers across the Departments portfolio.


The Team

The Facility Operations team provides a range of services to support you. These services include:

* Guidance on building compliance with Australian Standards and Government Regulations
* Delivery of the approved Infrastructure Rectification Program
* Support to sites in development of site funded building works
* Assistance in instances of failures of critical maintenance services, such as electricity and water
* Support with emergencies that have the potential to disrupt site activities.


About the Role

The Facility Operations Officer provides administrative advice and support to the Facility Operations Team. Primary duties include facilitation of the central contractor audits, along with monitoring of the Operations email inbox and assisting with work requests and work orders as required.

Applicants should have strong administration and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Sound Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills are essential to this role.

We are looking for

* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
* Current Drivers Licence.
* The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.
