The City of Ballarat currently has vacancies for Waste Collection Drivers within the Waste Collection team, contributing to the kerbside collection of Ballarat's residential waste & recyclables.
This is an ideal opportunity for a suitably experienced, enthusiastic person with team-oriented values to join this dynamic team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a current model dual control waste compactor to empty kerbside presented bins.
This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday), with an annualised salary of $83,504.03 per annum inclusive of applicable allowances plus statutory superannuation.

* Demonstrated customer service skills and experience.
* Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of local government or transport works practices.
* Sound understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
* A Victorian Heavy Vehicle Victorian Driver's Licence (HR) is essential, with an exemplary driving record and demonstrated understanding and commitment to Fatigue Management.
