Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our wellbeing team as an Intake Coordinator and Student Counsellor. This role requires someone with strong counselling expertise and the ability to manage sensitive situations with care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting initial intake assessments and managing referrals, providing confidential short to medium-term counselling, conducting risk assessments and developing action plans where required, offering consultation and support to teaching staff, and liaising with external mental health professionals and agencies.
This is a full-time role that commences in January 2026 and offers a 12-month parental leave contract. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and professional registration, such as a Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counsellor. Further training in Family Therapy or child/adolescent development will be highly regarded.
