Senior Safety Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced safety specialist to lead our team in ensuring compliance with all WHS legislative requirements and implementing effective WHS policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safety Risk Management: Develop, document, implement and review safety risk management in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.
* Workplace Safety Officer: Perform full range of responsibilities of workplace safety and health officer as required.
* Site Establishment: Conduct site establishment and planning activities.
* WHMIS Support: Assist site management in setting up, implementing and reviewing WHS management system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Construction Experience: Minimum 3 years construction experience with trade background preferred.
* Certificate IV Training: Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or Lead Auditor Qualification is highly desirable.
* Training Needs Identification: Confidently identify training needs and develop deliverable safety programs for local clients.
* Industry Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
