Your Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to deliver Senior Occupational Therapy services to eligible in and outpatients within Orthopaedics, Surgical caseloads or other areas of complex clinical need as required, within the WBHHS. This includes:
* Delivering high quality evidence based Occupational Therapy clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team.
* Contribution to the advancement of quality Occupational Therapy services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
* Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning, and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
* Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience as a skilled organisational development/strategic human resource practitioner with proven experience driving end-to-end culture, engagement, management and leadership learning programs that build capability and deliver results.
* Ability to utilise a variety of approaches to management and leadership development, to analyse the needs of learners and design appropriate capability interventions that focus on behavioural change and genuine improvement on the job.
* Proven facilitation experience for blended delivery within large and complex organisations with geographically distributed workforces.
* A record of delivering successful high impact people strategies and solutions with solid project management experience of organisational wide significance.
* Excellent written communication skills, including ability to prepare high quality documents, reports and briefing notes relating to organisational capability issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen, including the ability to work within a team as well as consult with a diverse range of stakeholders to build positive relationships.
* Desirable to have the ability to develop, coordinate and manage staff events including leadership conferences and forums, and staff recognition events.
Preferred Qualifications
* Qualifications in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, Business or related field are desirable but not essential if accompanied by relevant industry experience.
