Job Summary:
Banquets supervisors are responsible for the smooth operation of banquets and events in a hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect staff grooming and attire, rectifying any deficiencies
* Communicate with guests, colleagues, or departments to meet guest needs
* Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
* Set up banquet areas/rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper furniture/equipment setup
* Inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness, and adherence to group requirements and company standards
* Document pertinent information in department logbooks
Requirements:
* A warm & welcoming demeanor
* Availability to work weekends
* Previous supervisor experience is advantageous
