Overview
Gilson College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Education Support Officer to join its Primary School Campus at Taylors Hill (for up to approximately 24 hours per week, over five days). This is an ongoing position with an immediate start. The hourly pay range for this role is $30-$32 depending on qualification.
Responsibilities
- Assist individual students or small groups of students, during learning and extra-curricular activities, including sports days and excursions, as directed by the classroom teacher.
- Assist in the preparation, distribution and collection of classroom materials and administrative duties, such as the keeping of student and equipment records.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in School-Based Education Support (preferred)
- 2-3 years of industry experience
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
