We are looking for a suitable qualified person to oversee our ELC and OSHC programs. Must have leadership experience, work well in a team and have knowledge of ETLF, MYTOP and the National Standards. Must hold Diploma in Early Childhood Education as a minimum. We have an ECT and OSHC team leader to support this role.We are a 33 place ELC.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Centre & Outside School Hours Care are monitored and maintained and that regular reporting to the Principal is provided;
* Operate the Centre within agreed policies and procedures that ensures compliance to all relevant laws and regulations;
* To support staff in providing a quality program that identifies the needs and interests of children in care;
* Supplement staff team by providing direct care to a group of children;
About you
* Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
* Hold a current NT Working with Children Card;
* Hold a Senior First Aid Certificate;
* Demonstrated leadership experience in an early years setting;
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff including encouraging parental participation;
* Be responsible in working collaboratively with the Principal in the implementation and evaluation of quality programs for each child that is based on the children's strengths and interests;
* Proficiency in the use of computers and technologies.
