Exciting new leadership role is perfect for a seasoned Operations Manager or General Manager with events and staging experience. Reporting directly to the Co-CEOs and founders, the primary purpose of the role is the general management of Sydney's premiere wedding & events planner.
Our new Operations Manager will be an inspiring leader who loves being part of a fast pace business that's ultimate goal is creating amazing experiences and events for our clients. To support this ongoing vision, you will be a meticulous business operator with strong operations and strategic development experience.

**Key accountabilities**
+ Influence and lead the development and implementation of strategies and plans to attract and secure new business in corporate and other segments.
+ Identify and create opportunities to grow existing events, create new revenue streams.
+ Provide expert executive advice and support to the CEO
+ Build strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the events field across different industries.
+ Provide leadership and manage the operations and activities of the Event division including responsibility for reporting, financial and audit requirements.
+ Balancing a range of competing priorities and multiple events in a constantly changing environment and working within very tight decision-making deadlines.
+ Preparing comprehensive and detailed reports, briefs and information which will support decision making and organisational reporting requirements.
+ Achieving timely and effective outcomes given the diverse nature of events & projects which can involve detailed research.
+ Keeping abreast of relevant industry trends, programs and legislative requirements.

+ Taking a positive and strategic approach to challenges that are often of a complex and sensitive nature and developing creative and innovative solutions to resolve them.
+ Lead the staff in developing processes and executing of events
+ Create warehouse workflow to streamline the operations and logisitics
**You will possess**
+ People management experience in a production, events, hospitality, or hotel environment for 5 years
+ Operations management in a similar environment for 5 years
+ Project management methodologies is a plus
+ Eye for creative works
+ Tertiary qualification in project management, people management, event management and/or operations management
