Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Town Planner to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects. The role involves overseeing the full development application process—from initial due diligence through to approval—across regional, urban, environmental, and land‑use planning contexts.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing planning reports, undertaking site assessments, managing client and stakeholder engagement, and liaising with local and state regulatory authorities. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with the option to work from our Gold Coast office or remotely, depending on your preference and project needs.

Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in regional, urban, and environmental planning
• Strong understanding of land‑use planning frameworks and statutory processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage projects of varying scale and complexity
• High‑level capability in preparing comprehensive planning reports and documentation
• Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline
• Membership or eligibility for membership with the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) is advantageous
• Familiarity with SEQ planning schemes and state‑level planning legislation and policy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
