The Role
We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support the build, configuration, and validation of secure ICT systems in a national security-aligned program. You'll work across infrastructure, networks, and security teams to help deliver and maintain mission-ready platforms aligned with Zero Trust and Data Centric Security principles.
This Canberra-based role is ideal for a technically hands-on engineer who enjoys solving real-world integration challenges in a high-trust setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the deployment and configuration of secure ICT infrastructure, including Windows, network, and identity systems.
* Assist with system testing, validation, and documentation to support accreditation and operational readiness.
* Troubleshoot technical issues across infrastructure and provide input to solution refinement.
* Maintain configuration baselines, security settings, and system documentation.
* Collaborate with engineers, testers, and program leads to ensure delivery milestones are met.
* Assist in coordinating the use of shared environments to avoid configuration or testing conflicts.
What You'll Need
* Demonstrated experience in systems engineering or administration within secure or structured ICT environments.
* Broad technical knowledge across Wintel, networking, and system integration domains.
* Understanding of secure architecture principles, Zero Trust, and accreditation requirements.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams in structured delivery programs.
* Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.
* Australian Citizenship with an active NV1 security clearance.
