One of Australia's essential Federal Government Department is looking to engage with a skilled and experienced Protective Security Incident Management Analyst to join their multidisciplinary team. The successful Protective Security Incident Management Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of security arrangements and provide risk, policy, and governance advice to ensure the effective management of security risk and practices for the department's people, information and assets. The successful Protective Security Incident Management Analyst will secure a 12-month contract + 12-month extension option and a rewarding pay rate within a hybrid working environment.
The successful Protective Security Incident Management Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Security Incident Management plan (roles/responsibilities and communications)
- Senior Executive response plans
- Assessing adequacy of the existing arrangements
- Developing processes and procedures
The successful Protective Security Incident Management Analyst will have experience in the following:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Security Incident Management
- Experience managing Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Certification or membership to relevant professional organisations (CPP, APP, PSP)
- Experience Providing security briefings.
