Newcastle Anglican are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join their team at Mirrabooka Place - Gloucester NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes.

Role & Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Residential Care Manager
* Administer medication under the delegation and supervision of the Registered Nurse
* Contribute to the clinical care of consumers including maintenance of clinical records
About you
* Diploma in Nursing or Certificate IV in Aged Care
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
