What you'll be doing
* Supervise and lead a team of civil construction workers, including operators, labourers, and subcontractors
* Plan, organise, and schedule work activities to meet project timelines and deadlines
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
* Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and budget
* Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
What we're looking for
* Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
* Proven ability to supervise and work hands-on in the field – not just behind the scenes.
* Strong knowledge of civil works (e.g., earthworks, subdivisions, drainage, road construction).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
* Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and drawings
* Flexibility to work on various construction sites and adapt to changing job requirements
* White Card, current Driver's Licence (MR/HR advantageous).
