Position Title: Lead Implementation Consultant
Reporting Line : Implementation Manager
Position Purpose : Assist Implementation Leadership to fulfill metrics and targets through provision of
Consulting and Implementation services to ADP clients, utilizing specialized product
knowledge to coach and assist team members to deliver a quality implementation service.
Key Responsibilities: • Successfully implement products and associated services as allocated, within
required timeframes.
• Assist in leading and motivating team members in the provision of client
implementation projects, with a focus on customer service
• Support the Implementation team in training, coaching and mentoring of new and
existing Associates to reinforce skills and knowledge
• Create, deliver and maintain procedures related to Implementation skills and
processes
• Apply project methodology – planning, follow up, reporting and quality assurance.
• Review and measure progress against specified criteria and deliverables, developing
and implementing suitable corrective action as required.
• Define client requirements, provide gap analysis, document, build and configure the
outcome of these efforts.
• Partner with internal and external client stakeholders to develop an executable plan
that accounts for both functional and technical work streams of the project.
• Act as a subject matter expert within implementation team for projects and
business wide initiatives
• Assist Implementation Leadership in the development of implementation strategy,
process and methodology
• Act as an escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders and resolve complex
implementation related payroll issues as they arise
• Act as subject matter expert by keeping up to date with technology and legislative
developments as they relate to the product and Industry
• Assist in the collation of data for implementation reports and the recording and
analysis of implementation errors
• Participate and contribute to BPI initiatives and activities as required
• Work with Sales and Service Delivery teams to ensure smooth transition to 'go-live'
for all new clients
• Conduct post Implementation reviews and share learnings as part of continuous
improvement requirements
Experience: • Strong stakeholder management and customer service / client facing consulting
experience within an Implementation / Service Delivery environment
• Demonstrated experience (min 5 years) within an Implementation environment,
with an excellent understanding of payroll, payroll applications including Time &
Attendance and processing
• Well-developed facilitation/coaching skills
• Proven ability and experience advising and influencing internal stakeholders and
providing insights that lead to key decision making within the business
• Experience applying project management methodology, with demonstrated success
in previous roles
• Strong ability to identify client risks and provide options for resolution
• Proven experience in data mapping, data conversion and data integrity
• Advance understanding of interface technologies and data exchange between
payroll and third party systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.)
• Experience in Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word and Excel
• Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work, in accordance to tight deadlines and pressure
Certifications /Qualifications
• Tertiary qualification with a business related field, or Information Technology.
• Proven experience in a similar role may be taken in lieu of formal qualification.
• Project Management certification ideal.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (preferred)
