Their commitment to customer satisfaction shines through tailored services like home delivery and wholesale offerings for restaurants and hotels.Your new roleMaximising equipment uptime through efficient and effective mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.Conducting the fabrication, fitting, and repair of mechanical machinery, tools, or devices to maintain equipment and facilities in peak working condition for their designated purpose.Performing all mechanical tasks in compliance with company safety standards, housekeeping protocols, and applicable regulations.Demonstrating strong time management, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.What you'll need to succeedPossession of Fitter and Turner trade qualifications alongside relevant post-trade experienceCapability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentProven track record in maintenance and repair within a fast-paced manufacturing settingStrong aptitude for effective fault diagnosis and problem-solvingComprehensive knowledge of maintenance management practicesFamiliarity with work planning and scheduling protocolsProficiency in computer systems and software applicationsExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsIn-depth understanding of WHS regulations and proceduresConfined Space and Breathing Apparatus competency is highly advantageousWhat you'll get in returnSuccessful candidates will secure a full-time permanent position with our client, based locally in Rockhampton.
The role provides flexibility with a rotating shift roster, including one Saturday every three weeks, balanced by the option to work a four-day week.
