About The Role
As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and patients to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Endoscopy Unit.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Assisting with patient transportation via beds, trolleys and wheelchairsSupporting scope reprocessing and maintaining high infection control standardsCleaning and reprocessing endoscopesAssisting with manual handling and stores managementTransporting documents, equipment and specimens to support hospital flowWorking collaboratively with nurses, supervisors and other hospital staffMaintaining workplace safety and participating in WHS trainingCompleting ongoing yearly GENCA Endoscopy reprocessing modulesEnsuring correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
This is a hands-on role within a busy procedural unit where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Experience in a hospital procedural environment is preferred but not essential. No prior experience is required — training will be provided.

Ongoing education includes mandatory training and completion of online learning modules, including annual GENCA reprocessing requirements.
