About the role

We are looking for passionate, empathetic Support Workers with a can‐do attitude and positive growth mindset to join our vibrant team at Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Accommodation team, on a Casual basis.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised support in a group home setting
  • Assist clients at mealtimes, personal care, administer medication, and manual handling
  • Support clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Support clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
  • Assist clients with transport (e.g., using CPA minivan)

Requirements

  • Available for a minimum of 3 days a week, 20-25 hours (this is a minimum requirement; there are 35+ hours available for those who wish)
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
  • Live generally close to Hornsby and St Ives

At CPA the safety of our staff and clients is of paramount importance. This role requires a high level of physical functionality with some inherent requirements. Employees are encouraged to adhere to the NDIS Worker Code of Conduct and to be vaccinated against COVID-19. CPA is a smoke‐free workplace including in, on and around CPA sites and vehicles.
