Job Title: Fiber Optic Gyroscope Engineer
The ideal candidate will have a strong theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena.
* A bachelor's or master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
* Proven experience in fiber optic gyroscopes is essential.
* Strong knowledge of photonics, including light sources, optical fibers, couplers, modulators, and detectors relevant to FOGs is necessary.
* Demonstrable experience with manufacturing processes for optical or precision electro-mechanical systems is also required.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and manufacturing cutting-edge FOG-based navigation systems with outstanding performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration is crucial. The ability to analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance FOG performance and reliability is also essential.
