About the role As Team Leader - Financial Markets Services (FMS) APAC, you will be a trusted subject-matter expert within FMS Operations. Partnering closely with Markets & Treasury, you will lead a team to deliver accurate, timely & compliant day‑to‑day support across ANZ & Asia. This role combines hands-on operational leadership with stakeholder engagement & continuous improvement, making it ideal for an experienced Markets or Treasury professional ready to step into a visible regional leadership position. The team operates Monday to Friday from 12:30pm to 9:00pm (11:30am to 8:00pm during daylight saving), supporting the Asia time zone. This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office-based & work-from-home days. Top Role Accountabilities: Lead, coach & develop the FMS team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes Oversee core FMS operations across ANZ & Asia, including transaction processing, settlements, reporting, reconciliations & confirmations Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing daily requests, issues & escalations Ensure timely & accurate execution of financial market transactions in line with SLAs Maintain high standards of accuracy, completeness & reliability across all processes Review & sign manually created confirmations in line with regulatory timelines Drive process improvements & operational initiatives, coordinating delivery & stakeholder engagement Ensure timely investigation & resolution of cash & transaction reconciliation breaks To be successful you will have: 5 years’ experience in a senior Treasury or Markets Operations role, ideally with regional exposure Demonstrated experience leading, coaching & motivating teams Strong knowledge of financial market products Experience with payments & settlement systems (including SWIFT, RTGS & securities settlements platforms) Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving & decision-making capability Proven ability to manage competing priorities & meet deadlines A proactive, continuous improvement mindset Chinese language (Mandarin or Cantonese) skills highly regarded Willingness & ability to work 12:30pm–9:00pm, Monday to Friday, in a hybrid environment Our Values Rabobank Australia values inclusion, belonging, & positive experiences for all.
