Your New Role
As a key valued member of this cutting-edge nimble 'smart' law firm, reporting to and being mentored by the managing principal, you will relish the diversity engaging in interesting work acting for a broad client base Australia-wide.
Specifically, you will love taking ownership of your own practice and clients advising on:
* Intellectual property law (predominantly trade marks)
* Commercial transactions including commercial contracts, corporate/business law, privacy law, employment law, defamation, non-TM intellectual property (eg copyright, designs, patents)

Who You Are
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
* Are an admitted solicitor in Australia
* Have a minimum of 2 years (or more) experience in commercial law (essential) and intellectual property law (preferable not essential)
* Have high attention to detail, strong drafting/communication/people skills, and commercial acumen
* Have an entrepreneurial spirit willing to participate in business development and marketing
