Role OverviewAt IPAR, we provide national occupational rehabilitation services to individuals living with illnesses, disabilities, or injuries. Our tailored care approach focuses on workplace rehabilitation, counseling, injury prevention, and employment support. Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychologists, and Rehabilitation Counsellors.
Job Description
Responsibilities:As a key member of our team, you will work independently while being part of a close-knit team of driven healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:1. Managing caseloads efficiently with the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to minimize administrative tasks.2. Applying your clinical expertise to enhance return-to-work outcomes for clients with physical and psychological conditions.3. Collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.4. Working closely with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.5. Providing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans to assist clients in achieving return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.Qualifications and Requirements:A tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology registered with AHPRA or ESSA is required. Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly valued. Excellent communication skills are essential to engage with clients and stakeholders. Compassion, kindness, and empathy; strong time management are also crucial.
