The Opportunity
Based in Western Tasmania, this small group practice is looking for additional support across various dates at the end of 2025 and in to 2026. Here you will work Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5pm, and on some days you may be required to support the solo practice in Zeehan.
$1600 is paid daily and travel, car and accommodation support provided.
Details
* Monday to Friday with no on-call or weekend work
* Best Practice software is in use
* 15-minute standard consultation times offered
* May be working alongside another GP or a GP VMO in the Rosebery clinic though also potential of providing solo cover
* Supported by a registered nurse
* Primarily bulk-billing clinic
The Location
Located on the west coast of Tasmania, this town is known for its mining history and natural attractions. It sits at the northern end of the West Coast Range, near Mount Black and the Pieman River (now Lake Pieman). The town is a starting point for scenic mountain walks and is home to the Rosebery Mine, one of Tasmania's largest and longest-operating mines.
MM5 location. This location qualifies for additional financial incentives through the Workforce Incentive Program (WIP). Eligible GPs can receive significant financial support based on the area's classification.
