To support our expanding team of mortgage brokers, we’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Broker Support Officer or Parabroker to join us.
About the role
You will play a vital role in supporting our mortgage brokers through every stage of the loan process. You’ll help ensure loans are processed efficiently, documents are handled correctly, and compliance is maintained - allowing our brokers to focus on what they do best: helping clients. You will be a key part of our growing business, with optional pathways to Mortgage Broking and Support Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
Broker Support Officer
* Assist brokers with end-to-end loan processing, from initial application through to settlement
* Liaise with clients, lenders, and third parties to gather and verify required documentation
* Input and maintain data accurately in CRM and lender systems (e.g., ApplyOnline, Mercury)
* Follow up with lenders and clients to ensure smooth and timely progression of loan files
* Manage post-settlement tasks and ensure records are kept up to date
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes
* Provide general administrative support to the broker team and branch manager
* General office duties as required
Parabroker
* Assist brokers with Credit Analysis and Deal Structuring
* Preparing presentation of research and structure
* Analysis of financials, tax returns
* Scenario research, discussion, complex querying, policy research and analysis
* Broker Support Officer responsibilities as required
About You
* Previous experience in mortgage broking support, loan processing, or finance administration is required
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous Experience with CRM Systems and Mortgage platforms such as ApplyOnline, Mercury, Valex, RP Data
* Experience with Connective systems desirable
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
* A positive, can-do attitude, a team-first approach and eager to learn and contribute
