The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Carpenter or Handyperson to join our team in Newcastle. In this role, you will be our go to for all preventative and reactive carpentry and general maintenance services for our commercial clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake urgent, routine & ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, inspections on various commercial sites including Retail, Banking, Government, and Petroleum
* Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships
* Keep accurate and detailed records of work performed including service reports and safety documentation
Requirements:
* Cert III in Carpentry
* Experience working as a Handyperson without trade qualifications will also be considered
* Strong commercial maintenance experience
* Valid driver's license
* Current white card
* Extra tickets and certifications are a bonus
* Ability to use software on smartphone or tablet
* A national police check and medical assessment will be part of the recruitment process
