3-4 months Pat Leave Contract Data discovery and manipulation, working and transforming HR data to improve usability and maximise the insights Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), Power BI (good to have) - dashboard creation and manipulations of data sets Brisbane Based role Contract Lenth – 12 months Hybrid working environment The Senior Project Manager - HRIS and Payroll Implementation is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of payroll solution and working closely with integrators and key business areas to ensure a smooth and effective implementation. This critical project involves managing the complexity of three enterprise bargaining agreements and Commonwealth agreement staff, requiring deep payroll expertise and strong stakeholder engagement. The role also includes contract management, change management, and the transition to ongoing support. Reporting to senior executives and the board, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the project meets its objectives. They will manage all aspects of the project from planning and configuration to data migration, user training, and go-live, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while collaborating closely with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to meet business requirements and project deadlines. They will be responsible for ensuring that the implementation process runs smoothly on time, and on budget. Project Scope: Work with internal stakeholders to understand current system operation and define new system requirements for both HRIS and Payroll. Finalise requirements document outlining all essential functionality required of new system including data integrity, single source of truth, all functionality and system integration. The successful candidate: Experience in HRMS/HRIS/Payroll implementation, preferably in the capacity of a project manager (ideally 2 full life cycle implementations). End-to-End Implementation: Oversee the deployment of HCM and Payroll, ensuring functionality meets business needs and compliance requirements. Strong expertise in HRIS platforms (Workday, Dayforce, Kronos/UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar). Experience in large-scale system migrations, including cloud and on-premises Contract Management: Manage contracts related to delivery, integration, and ongoing support, ensuring alignment with project goals and vendor commitments. Proven experience in managing projects on a contract basis and delivering them on time and on budget. Strong understanding of enterprise bargaining agreements and payroll compliance. Experience in contract management, vendor relations, and service delivery oversight.
