About the Position
Full time 38 hours per week
Location: Keysborough, Victoria
What you will do
Provide customer service through calls, emails, and on-site visits, and deliver remote or mobile support to troubleshoot client issues where possible.
Provide software and hardware service, installation, maintenance, and replacement service.
Provide basic training and guidance to end users on the hardware and software installed.
Troubleshoot network and IT issues and resolve them in a timely fashion.
Make modifications on existing equipment and programs and perform upgrades on both software and hardware as needed.
Deliver services to clients as per the SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Replace, upgrade, or update IT equipment such as printers, desktops, terminals, routers, network switches, etc., as needed to meet client requirement.
Install and configure network peripherals such as routers, switches, and modems.
Perform network device staging and configuration etc.
Prepare and deploy hardware images for installation on terminals.
Run diagnostic software to ensure correct operation of repaired equipment.
Maintain equipment inventory for future warranty tracking etc.
Handle basic security management, including firewall settings and malware.
Prepare technical documentation and user manuals based on troubleshooting activities to facilitate ease of reference and support future issue resolution.
Consistently identify and clarify our customers' needs and strive to meet those needs and exceed their expectations.
Build excellent customer relations by keeping our customers informed and updated of any changes or work performed.
Skills and Experience
Degree in IT or equivalent
3+ years of experience
A proven understanding of business concepts and processes
General familiarity with ServiceNow and Autom8
Demonstrated experience in a complex systems administration role
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (CISCO, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), as well as tools such as PuTTY and cable testers
Desirable to have experience with Amazon Workspaces and Google Workspace
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A proactive mindset with a willingness to upskill and adapt in a dynamic IT landscape
