The Nursing Unit Manager 2 (NUM2) – Opioid Treatment Unit (OTP) is responsible for the effective coordination and management of nursing and multidisciplinary services within the Drug & Alcohol service. The position provides professional and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, person-centred care to people experiencing substance use and co-occurring health issues. The role manages human and material resources, clinical governance, and service coordination in line with NSW Health policies, harm-minimisation principles, and the Nurses' and Midwives' (State) Award.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites on Dharawal Country in the Illawarra: Coledale District Hospital, Bulli District Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital. Qualifications
Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Current AHPRA Registration.
Relevant management tertiary qualifications or working towards the same; or alternatively relevant work experience or combination of qualification and work experience.
Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
This is a temporary leave relief position until 15 November **** with the possibility of extension.
