Health and Safety Expert Role
The ideal candidate will possess formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, working knowledge of health and safety legislation, and experience with WHS management in a construction company.
We are seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual who is prepared to go the extra mile to achieve desired results. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and identify potential hazards across all site activities
* Investigate and report incidents and implement actions to prevent re-occurrence
* Challenge and address health and safety issues in a professional manner
* Manage health and safety aspects of subcontractor works
* Deliver toolbox meetings to site personnel and sub-contractors
About You:
* Formal qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum Certificate IV Work Health and Safety)
* Construction Industry White Card
* First Aid & CPR
* Working knowledge of HammerTech
* Minimum 3 years health and safety experience with a construction company
