Activities and Lifestyle Assistant
We are a boutique family‐run aged care facility located in Tin Can Bay. Our home provides residents with equal access to care in a supportive and friendly environment. We respect residents' traditional and cultural backgrounds and provide an environment of peace, security, and harmony, allowing them to live creatively and independently.
We are looking for a Permanent Part‐time Activities and Lifestyle Assistant to join our team. The successful applicant must be available to work Thursday and Friday: 08:30 am to 04:30 pm.
Requirements/Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Allied Health or Individual Support or equivalent, or willingness to undertake further education and training.
* Experience in a similar role in an aged care facility is highly regarded but not essential.
* Current NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
* Computer literate.
* Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
* Enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive and able to take initiative.
* Ability to set up meaningful and person‐centred activities.
* Ability to present activities for varying levels of ability.
* Genuine desire to care for frail aged people.
