About the Role
We're seeking a Retail Sales Manager / Design Consultant to join our team and drive the next phase of Shadow Form's growth.
In this hands-on, client-focused role, you'll combine design consultation with sales execution, seeking new clients and helping them choose the right products, preparing quotes, managing trade orders, and maintaining lasting relationships with builders, designers, and homeowners.
This position will be full-time and can be remote, with visits to clients or the office as required around the Peninsula. Perfect for someone who has interior design experience or passion and is looking for a customer success and sales-focused position that thrives on autonomy, problem-solving, and building trust with clients.
Your Day-to-Day
* Working with clients and helping them choose window furnishings that fit their lifestyle and aesthetic.
* Turning design ideas into practical, stylish solutions (and seeing them come to life).
* Managing quotes and trade orders with ease by keeping everything smooth from consult to install.
* Building relationships with interior designers, builders, designers, and homeowners who love good design as much as you do.
* Spotting new opportunities to grow the business and expand your client base.
* Bringing ideas, energy, and initiative to a team that genuinely values input and collaboration.
We'd Love You To Have
* Sales experience is required, highly desired if in design or related fields.
* Passion or experience in interior design.
* Exceptional communication skills and a friendly, confident approach.
* The ability to juggle a few things at once (you're probably already a pro at that).
* Attention to detail and pride in your work.
* Comfort using Microsoft Office, quoting tools, or CRM systems.
* A can-do attitude, reliability, and genuine passion for helping people love their spaces.
* Valid Australian Drivers License and full Australian working rights.
