We're hiring a Product & Delivery Manager to join our dynamic Sydney-based team. This leadership role is focused on delivering projects and services related to traffic, automation, and control systems (ITS). You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex technical solutions—ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
We are looking for someone with passion and drive who will be responsible for:
Project Planning & Delivery
Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, scope, and budget. Proactively manage risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
Product Readiness & Lifecycle Management
Ensure all products are market-ready with complete designs, documentation, accreditations, and patents. Oversee the product lifecycle from development to delivery.
Identify and implement product innovations and improvements that enhance market relevance, competitiveness, and commercial viability. Lead R&D investment approvals and delivery.
Lead cross-functional teams including engineers and project managers. Manage direct reports and foster a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-focused work environment.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Communicate project updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee testing, validation, and continuous improvement of technical outputs.
Budget & Resource Management
Manage budgets, resources, and cost allocations. Monitor financial performance and develop business cases for product investments and process improvements.
System & Process Improvement
Develop and implement best practice methodologies, integrated management systems (IMS), and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and delivery effectiveness.
Governance, Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to WHS requirements, company policies, and senior management directives. Promote safe working practices and legal compliance at all levels.
Professional Conduct & Company Representation
Uphold the company's reputation, confidentiality, and intellectual property. Demonstrate integrity, loyalty, and professionalism in all dealings while contributing to a positive work culture.
The successful applicant will have:
* A degree in Engineering is essential, preferably in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) products is highly valued.
* Minimum 10 years industry experience
* In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and frameworks, with excellent technical documentation capabilities.
* Proven experience in leading teams and working collaboratively across functions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are critical.
* Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges and drive solutions effectively.
* Demonstrated initiative and a growth mindset toward continuous improvement and self-development. Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or equivalent platforms.
