About the Role
This role is responsible for coordinating patient travel needs in accordance with the Queensland Health Travel and Accommodation Policy and Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate approved patient travel and process travel claims in a timely manner, adhering to established policies and guidelines.
* Provide expert advice to clients regarding eligibility requirements and travel options.
* Assist in reconciling accounts and preparing payments for client transactions.
* Participate in the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of internal systems, processes, and work practices.
* Identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to existing practices.
About You
* Demonstrate ability or capacity to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
* Exhibit understanding and responsiveness to client expectations.
* possess knowledge of administrative procedures and policies and standards within a travel environment, or be able to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
* Display sound oral communication and conflict resolution skills, along with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse client groups.
