About the role:
The Accounts Receivable role is a key component of the Think Commercial finance team, collaborating closely with the Financial Controller and various departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping. This role supports financial accuracy and requires a proactive mindset to achieve key financial goals.
The role will include but not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger.
2. Keep track of outstanding invoices and ensure timely debt repayments.
3. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
4. Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and queries.
5. Assist Accounts Payable with reconciliations.
6. Prepare relevant monthly reports and balance sheet reconciliations
7. Assist in general financial management and analysis.
8. Cooperate with the accounting and finance department to improve financial processes.
9. Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.
10. Conduct debtor follow-ups via phone and email
