The Opportunity
The role is part of the Healthy Communities department at Benalla Health and provides Podiatry services to the Community, Aged Care, and Acute inpatient facilities. Outpatient clinical care is provided within a High Risk Foot Clinic (HRFC), assessing, managing, and collaborating on the care of consumers with wounds to their feet and legs. Support and supervision will be provided by a Senior Podiatrist and Community Health Nurse.
The role is part-time (2 days per week).
Key responsibilities:
* Ability to work autonomously with clinical supervision as required.
* Ability to work collaboratively and consultatively in a multi-disciplinary team and with consumers.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Provision of clinical services to inpatients, aged care residents, outpatients, community health, and other contract consumers.
* Working in partnership with members of the HRFC team to ensure excellent consumer outcomes.
* Delivering high standards of podiatry care and service to consumers across Benalla Health by partnering with consumers, families, and carers at all levels of healthcare provision, planning, and evaluation.
