Are you ready for a hands-on role in a great team environment? As an Evaporator Operator at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll be responsible for operating the Juice Circuit and working closely with shift team members and Mill management.
This permanent position is based at Proserpine Mill in North Queensland's Mackay/Whitsunday region. During crushing (June-December) you'll work a continuous rotating shift roster that may include weekends and occasional overtime. Once crushing is complete and the Mill enters the maintenance period (Jan-May), the role switches to a day shift schedule with RDOs most Fridays.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the Juice Circuit (including Juice Heaters, Clarifiers, Filters, Evaporators and associated equipment) to ensure efficient and productive crushing.
* Collaborate closely with the shift team to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
* Provide regular and accurate feedback to Mill management on station performance and quality issues.
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety every day.
