As a **Parts Advisor** you'll play a central role in ensuring the seamless availability of parts for all customers internal and external. You'll build meaningful customer relationships while increasing and maximising part sales. With our onsite workshop you'll be the go-to for parts great and small, while also providing interpreting services and support to the team. **In this role you will**:
- Provide parts interpreting services & support to the Yatala branch, service and sales departments and our dealer network.
- Ensure a regular flow of parts to the onsite workshop, and to our valued customers.
- Work with the parts team to increase and maximise all part sales.
- Provide top notch customer service ensuring each customer is heard, understood and respected.
- Ensure timely communication with all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Monitor and stay informed of the latest product developments & updates to stay ahead of the game.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast and order parts per company requirements.
- Review freight and shipping to ensure we're doing things in the most effective way.
- Get your hands dirty and build team morale by getting involved in stocktakes and relevant parts call outs when required.
- Use your knowledge and experience to up and cross sell where appropriate.
**About you**:
- Have a 2 to 3 years of Parts Advisor experience with strong relationship building skills.
- Be completing (or have completed) a Certificate in Parts Interpreting (ideal) or have relevant industry experience.
- A basic understanding of the operation of internal combustion engines (essential) and automatic transmissions (desirable)
