As a seasoned **Digital Designer**, you are a hands-on practitioner who has a passion and eye for great creative. You will actively contribute to design production. You are a hybrid, multi modal designer that can produce modular, reusable, metadata rich content for on-site experiences, digital marketing, chatbots, and AI agents. You will be creating assets that contribute to bigger content systems—templates, variants, components, and narrative blocks dynamically assembled based on customer signals.You are an advocate of new and emerging tools and technologies, and champion AI native workflows, embedding automation, iteration, and experimentation to accelerate velocity, uplift quality, and drive customer and business impact.As a **Digital Designer**, you excel at bringing great ideas to life and supporting the creation of exceptional visual design solutions. You thrive being part of a high functioning and motivated creative team and enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders to design and develop visual communications across multi-media channels, that engage and inspire audiences across the board. Your exceptional design skills, combined with your ability to establish tone, character and messaging that effectively resonates with target audiences, is what makes you successful in transforming the way Telstra's multi-media campaigns are delivered to market.**This is how you'll bring your role to life:*** Contribute to the design of innovative print-based and other multimedia design strategies and solutions, that deliver significant business and customer value* Model best practice design skills, and contribute to the development of visual materials that communicate ideas clearly and succinctly, that establish tone, character, and messaging and reflect both the brand and the objectives of the brief* Leverage your creative acumen, knowledge of customer preferences, and experience creating engaging designs to provide recommendations for new and emerging opportunities that could transform the way Telstra's print and multi-media campaigns are delivered to market* Participate in or lead mid-level design initiatives and projects (including creating and editing communications and digital advertising content, managing visual assets such as home page banners or product images), providing quality advice based on your sound design skills and a high-level analysis of business requirements* Collaborate with peers and key stakeholders (e.g. in-house creative teams and external agencies) to support the delivery of creative campaigns and engaging visual material, that inspires audiences fulfils marketing objectives* Engage in ongoing reviews of the design business as requested to ensure the evolving strategic objectives of the media business are met* Leverage your exceptional organisational skills to support team members with project planning and delivery activities, to help ensure project output is delivered on time, on budget and to an excellent standard* Actively recommend improvements within your own team on a regular basis, ensuring constant alignment of priorities with Telstra's overall objectives and awareness of design best practice* Build knowledge of the advertising / design industry, customer trends and multi-media consumption preferences through active thought leadership, and share expertise with team members to inform their design strategies* Apply your problem-solving abilities and sound analytical thinking to identify and assess design issues or risks, and work collaboratively with team members to resolve them in an efficient and timely manner* Apply Agile practices and mindsets when working within Telstra's Agile operating mode**What you'll bring****Essential skills & experience:*** Experience in digital design (e.g. web, email, campaign assets)* Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (non‐negotiable)* A strong eye for detail and ability to produce clean, on‐brand designs* Exposure to marketing, sales, or product launch campaigns* Ability to work from briefs and follow creative direction**Desirable experience*** Experience designing for existing customers, with a focus on retention or upsell* Exposure to personalised or segmented digital creative* Awareness of or interest in AI‐enabled creative and design tools**Ways of working*** Comfortable working in a team‐based, fast‐moving environment* Open to feedback and eager to develop creative capability* Able to explain your design thinking and walk through portfolio examples***If you enjoy collaborating with different people and delivering amazing experiences for the customer, we want to hear from you!****As part of your application with Telstra, you may receive communications from us on +61 440 135 548 (for job applications in Australia) and +1 (623) 400-7726 (for job applications in the Philippines and India).
