Overview
The Collins Submarine Program (CSMP) vision is to ensure that Australia has an enduring and potent Collins Class Submarine (CCSM) Capability. As a member of the ILS Sustainment Section, you will be providing guidance, planning and conducting materiel and logistics related Sustainment tasks.
Responsibilities
You will support the CSMP ILS Sustainment workgroup in activities such as:
* Assess and verify ILS products in support of CCSM configuration changes;
* Assist in the management of the Navy Allowance System facilitating the required updates, amendments and verification activities;
* Engage with and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes.
About our Team
The Collins Submarine Program within the Naval Shipbuilding & Sustainment Group (NSSG) is responsible for the maintenance and programmed upgrade of Australia's Collins Class Submarines. The Program works in partnership with the Royal Australian Navy and Industry to deliver the strategic submarine capability to the nation.

Candidate Requirements
We are seeking candidates with relevant experience and demonstrable knowledge in the materiel and logistics discipline. Our ideal candidate will:
* Have relevant experience and demonstrable knowledge in Integrated Logistics Support;
* Be accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex materiel and logistics work within an integrated workforce;
* Have an understanding of, and compliance to, relevant legislative frameworks and Defence's mission and policy requirements;
* Be accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to their area of responsibility to work through tasks and projects to meet deadlines;
* Able to interpret and provide advice within their function area based on legislation, policy and procedures;
* Undertake research and analysis, conduct reviews and perform procedural work to achieve results;
* Work collaboratively with stakeholders (both internal and external to Defence) and subject matter experts to resolve logistics matters;
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Have exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy; and
* Demonstrate commitment to the Defence Behaviours.
Security Clearance
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
